Nursing Admission

Nursing is a very noble profession, which is in great demand in India just like MBBS, not only in India but also abroad. After completion of nursing course the work scope is very wide all over the world. A nurse not only care for patients but also helps doctors in operations/surgeries. Indian Nursing Council is the authority body that deals with nursing education in India. There are no. of courses that one can do to become a nurse, like:

Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks

Duration: 2 years diploma course.

Admission Process: Direct admission.

Scope: Can become Community Health Worker, Home Nurse, Health Visitor, Basic Health Worker, Rural Health Worker etc.

Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks

Duration: 3.5 years

Admission Process: Direct or entrance depend on Institution

Scope: Can either do higher studies like B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) or become Staff nurse, Clinical nurse specialist, Travelling nurse, ICU nurse etc.

Eligibility: 10+2 in science (PCB) with 55% marks.

Duration: 4 years (semester wise)
