When one thinks about medical courses, MBBS always the first course that comes on mind. But apart from MBBS there are several other courses that can be done in the medical field like BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT etc.
If a student wants to become a physician or surgeon or dentist or lab technician then medical is the field for him/her. A student must have PCB in 12th class to pursue a career in medical.

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
In MBBS, there are two degrees in one domain. The students learn about the human anatomy, cytology, medicine, chemistry, drugs formulation & effect and method of surgery.
Eligibility: 10+2 in PCB and age between 17 to 25 yrs
Duration: 5.5 years (4.5 years academic education +1 year internship)
Admission process: Based on entrance exam-NEET, state conducted exam etc.

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
BDS is second most sought after course for medical students. Students study about dental science in this course.
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB and age must be 17 years at the time of admission or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Duration: 4 years + 1 year paid internship
Admission process: Based on entrance exam-NEET, state conducted exam etc.
